The race

Next time I will win the swimming race I promised my self as I got out I got beat by about to centermeaters but I just need to practice and I will win I told myself just practice and I will get better it was so frustrating to get beat but if I swim three times a week for one hour each time I should be able to win the race and get the Medal for first I thought as I went to the changing rooms my coach told me I had done a good job and said I was close to winning and to have better luck net time.

  1. Hello Jacob,

I can see you’re keen on swimming and, while it can be hard to be beaten by a few centimetres, this can drive you on to work harder. Doing something we love is a win whether we win a race or place second. Keep practising and you might start writing about win after win.
One small hint, remember to check where new sentences might be taken.
